Frequently Asked Questions
How do I restore my purchases?
Open Cognicard, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so it will be restored automatically on any device where you're signed in with the same account.
Where is my data stored?
All your flashcards, decks, and study progress are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We don't operate any servers or cloud databases. If you use iCloud backup, your data is included in your device backup.
Can I study offline?
Yes. All your cards are available offline. You can review, flip, and study without an internet connection. The only features that require internet are AI card generation, AI voice (text-to-speech), and AI answer evaluation. The system (Apple) voice works offline.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions, find Cognicard, and tap "Cancel Subscription." You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I export my decks?
Yes. Open any deck, tap the share icon, and choose your export format. You can share decks as files that other Cognicard users can import.
